Hey there, I’m Reese’s—16 pounds of pure, devoted love wrapped in a stunning tortie coat. That’s right, I’m a big girl with a big heart, and I’m looking for someone who wants a true companion. I don’t just like people—I adore them. If you walk into a room, you’d better believe I’m following right behind you, ready for pets, snuggles, or just to supervise whatever you’re up to.

I was originally adopted from this very shelter back in 2020, when I was just a tiny kitten named Buttercup. My family loved me dearly, but now I’m back and ready for my next chapter. Since returning, I’ve settled in beautifully, soaking up all the love and attention I can get.

I’ve lived with other cats, I’ve been around kids, and I love attention. I don’t mind being held, and if you’re looking for a loyal shadow who’ll stick by your side, I’m your girl. I’m fully vetted, microchipped, and ready to settle into my forever home. If you’re looking for a cat with a huge personality (and, let’s be honest, a huge everything else), come meet me. Let’s see if we’re a purr-fect match! ❤️🐾An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $250.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice.

At DeKalb Humane Society, we are passionate about finding forever homes for the pets in our care. Whether they are cats, dogs, or other furry friends, our mission is to provide them with a loving and nurturing environment.

The DeKalb Humane Society filed for our Certificate of Incorporation on December 23, 1975 and we were granted 501(c)3 status in March of 1976. We are committed to being a no-kill shelter and serving the DeKalb County area.
