Meet Bug! This tiny little 3-year-old greencheek conure is looking for a patient forever home who will continue to work on building trust with him and expanding his social horizons. Bug came to us as a bit of a shy bird and wasn't quite sure what to think about his new human friends - now, he is stepping up (with some encouragement), accepting head scratches (where he has grown confident enough to show his new friends exactly where to scratch), and riding around on shoulders! Even when he isn't feeling up to interacting, he will choose flight over fight any time and his body language is easy to read. A family who is okay going a bit slower to match Bug's speed would be ideal for him, as he still needs work to establish trust. Bug's adoption fee is $200.

We will review your application, and perform a background check, vet check and when applicable, a landlord check.

Meet the Pet

For most species, a meeting is required. For some species, multiple meetings may be needed or required.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once approved, sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Whether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)
We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders. We are not able to adopt birds into homes that use Teflon product or smoke due to toxicity dangers.
