My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiki is a shy but loving 9 year old short haired gray tabby with a unique ear. She is in perfect health and needs an adopter willing to give her the time she needs to adjust to all the recent changes in her life. Kiki needs an adopter that appreciates her independent spirit and will earn her trust.

More about this rescue

Golden Oldies Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in June 2016.
Our mission is to be a resource and advocate for older cats in Monterey County. We re-home older cats in Monterey County whose guardians can no longer care for them, or those who are at risk in local shelters. We place these cats in temporary foster homes and then find permanent loving homes for them enriching the lives of both the cats and their new humans.
We promise a lifetime commitment to the cats in our care. They either will be adopted or will live out their lives in one of our foster homes.
Golden Oldies is led by a board who share a vision of helping older cats in Monterey County live out their remaining years in safe, secure and loving homes. We are all volunteer and 100 percent foster-based
