Cody, a 5 1/2 year old handsome Siamese boy, who barely made it out of the shelter. Cody has an inflammation of the surface of his left eye, which is treatable but not curable, he has been started on eye medication and it is already much improved. He will need lifelong eye medication, every other day, to keep him comfortable. Otherwise he is a healthy cat and worth the extra attention and care. Cody was a perfect patient at his most recent check up and would do best in a calm and quiet household. He may get along with another mellow friendly cat with proper introduction.

More about this rescue
Golden Oldies Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in June 2016.
Our mission is to be a resource and advocate for older cats in Monterey County. We re-home older cats in Monterey County whose guardians can no longer care for them, or those who are at risk in local shelters. We place these cats in temporary foster homes and then find permanent loving homes for them enriching the lives of both the cats and their new humans.
We promise a lifetime commitment to the cats in our care. They either will be adopted or will live out their lives in one of our foster homes.
Golden Oldies is led by a board who share a vision of helping older cats in Monterey County live out their remaining years in safe, secure and loving homes. We are all volunteer and 100 percent foster-based
