My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Cheena (chee-nah)!

Cheena is a resilient brown domestic shorthair with a heart full of love and a story of strength. Having battled and overcome FIP, he is now a thriving, happy cat ready to embrace life with a family who will cherish him. His journey has made him strong, and now he’s looking for a home where he can share that strength and joy.

Despite his past challenges, Cheena is full of life and energy. He enjoys exploring his surroundings, playing with toys, and curling up for cozy naps in a safe and loving space. His affectionate nature makes him a wonderful companion, and he would do well in a home that appreciates his journey and is ready to give him the love he deserves.

Cheena has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Now, all he needs is a family to call his own—one that will celebrate his second chance at life with open arms!

All cats adopted from Fawn’s Family Rescue are fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption!

Additional adoption info

We meet with the potential parent for an interview. We then do a very extensive home check to make sure the pet is a good fit. Then, if everything checks out, we do the documentation, pay the fees, and give a permanent home to a rescue animal!
