My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEW 6/4/06: RRUFF's Jumpin' Jayda Bean (#17)

Say HELLO to one of the silliest, goofiest, hysterical, cutest girlies we've ever had the pleasure of fostering! Now, don't get me wrong, it hasn't always been peaches and cream with her - she had a few obstacles to ovecome before she blossomed - but WOW..what fun she is to have around!

Jayda came to us as a scared, under-socialized underweight little girl in early March. Since her arrival, she has been spayed, tattooed, completed a basic obedience course, and had TONS of socialization with her foster brothers and sister. She had a severe case of separation anxiety and we believe that her forever family will more than likely encounter the same and ask for them to have patience while she adjusts to her new home - she's truly worth it.

Jayda is crate trained, housebroken, HW negative and UTD on her vaccinations.

Jayda is NOT a dog for a couch potato family - or even a half couch potato family. She NEEDS an active household that will include her in their activities as much as they can. Like to run or walk? Jayda is an excellent exercise companion. She currently gets 2 walks per day, averaging 2 miles each, at a pretty fast pace - then a game of frisbee (about 5 minutes worth!) and then we sometimes do a little obedience work. She is a much happier dog when she gets rid of her excess energy.

Looking for an agility dog? jayda's perfect for agility - petite -only about 60 pounds, slight in build, and fast as heck.

A fenced yard is a huge plus for her as she does like to run - tennis balls and frisbees are two of her favorite toys in the yard, and boy can she run!

Jayda recently went to Pennsylvania for the ARC/CRC National Rottweiler Specialty shows where she met at least 100 people, and was among lots of dogs - and she was a perfect lady - polite in greeting the dogs, and checking as many hands as she could for possible treats!

Jayda is fostered in CT with two male rotties and a female rottie.
