Max is an exuberant, sweet, cuddly long-haired
chihuahua who just wants to be someone's best
friend!
He's a gentle, affectionate dog who loves to
cuddle and get scratches behind his ears. But
he's also an active little guy who likes to play
with chew toys, explore indoors and out, and
chase anything that moves. He loves treats and
while he doesn't know many commands, he is
eager to please and learns quickly. He's also
very comfortable riding in the car and would be
a great travel companion.
He's good with other dogs but he seems to love
humans the most. He would do well in a home
with adults and respectful children 10 and
older along with a fenced yard.
If you have previously submitted an application form to CHEW, there is no need to reapply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations before being placed in their forever homes.
