Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Anse and Lambrini are a pair of sleek and beautiful 9-month-old mini panther sisters looking for their forever home together.
First is Anse – this lovely and well-behaved tabby kitten has lots of love to give. She is reserved at first and will need extra time to become comfortable with new surroundings and friends, but her curiosity gets the better of her—if his littermate Lambrini is playing or enjoying a treat, she will slowly come out of hiding to make sure she’s not missing out on something.
Anse loves to survey the situation from a hiding spot before coming out to join the fun. Whether it's under a bed or inside the cat tree, she enjoys her time alone, but the need for love always wins out. She especially loves a spot in the sun and a view of the outdoors. She also likes to snuggle up to a stuffed animal for comfort! Anse has the energy of a young cat—well-balanced between occasional bursts of play and mellow moments in the sun.
Next is Lambrini – this girl is a sweet, reserved little black kitty; like his sister Anse, she may not come out of her hiding spot right away, but the second you reach in to pet her, she turns into a little purring machine.
Lambrini seems to be a very smart cat, always observing her sister and maybe even silently judging her a little. :) She knows how to work all the angles, so she still gets treats and pets even when she only wants to poke her head out of the fluffy bed. She is a bit hesitant around new humans, but endlessly patient when one of Anse climbs into the cozy bed with her and even sits on her once in a while! Her bright eyes looking at you make you want to just comfort her and give her a happy home.
Lambrini is fairly laid-back and mellow, but her foster home has a camera in their room, and she has been caught on video sneaking out when no one is around and playing with the toys alone. She remains calm even when her sister is playing and clamoring for attention.
Anse and Lambrini currently live in a foster home with two human adults and two older children. Due to their reserved nature, they have been living in their own private room separate from the noise of a busy home. Their ideal home is quiet and predictable, with patient humans who are dedicated to showing these two kittens how awesome it is to receive lots of love, affection and attention. They would likely do better with older children or those that are willing to be patient while they become accustomed to a new place and new family. Neither kitten has met any dogs yet.
If you’d like to add a couple of lovely and affectionate panthers to your family, Anse and Lambrini are so ready to meet you! ---- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt.
All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.

Pet Haven is a foster-based rescue. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
