My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Six year old Star has been through so much in her life. She had a wonderful Dad who loved her so very much. Star and her Dad were best friends, and Star was with him until the day he passed of cancer. His dying wish was that his friends help her find someone to love her as much as he did. Their friends reached out to us for help. Star is a six year old Lab who is a big gal. She had a lump removed that was not cancerous and surgery on her eyes after her arrival with us. She is now ready to find someone to love her. Star sat quietly today waiting for that special person that never showed up. She loved all the dogs that passed her cage and loved kids even more. She was happy when anyone gave a minute of their time to her. Star still has a lot of pep in her step. Want to meet Star? Email a completed application to us at Candice.bthar@gmail.com.
