My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WATERFALL and STELLA are the cutest bonded pair of little black panther female teenager sisters with faint tabby stripes. Waterfall is  playful and cuddly and will turn absolutely anything into a toy--she's quite the comedian!  She is always down to play and loves to wrestle with her sister Stella.  She has the normal youngster curiosity and when she isn’t playing and all her adventures are done for the day, she will purr mightily and is happy to curl up in a lap.  A funny quirk of hers, is that she likes to pick things up with one paw and bring them to her mouth – including food and water.  She has the softest fur and would be a delight in any home!  She came to the rescue with her sister Stella, and they must be adopted together.

WATERFALL has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  You can meet WATERFALL and STELLA at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in North Eugene (2847 Chad Dr, across from Costco).  Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet. The $280 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  ID 2410-C0381

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. It is available on our website: https://catrescues.org/forms/cat-adoption-contract/ A paper copy is available at our adoption sites. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, have been de-wormed, treated with flea medication at intake, spayed or neutered, and have been microchipped and tested for felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette, at Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd and the Eugene-Springfield Cat Lounge. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
