STELLA and WATERFALL are a curious and playful pair of teenager sisters, who have short solid-black fur. More petite than her sister Waterfall, that doesn't stop Stella from chasing and wrestling with her! She loves wand toys and is known to carry small toys around. She enjoys watching and observing everything going on around her. She is still a little shy about affection, but she does like to hang out in the room with her people -- she will need a calm home where she can come out of her shell. She does approach you for pets and cuddles when she feels comfortable. She also will come and curl up next to someone and stretch out for chin scritches. Stella will be a very rewarding cat to love and to help her blossom! She came to the rescue with her sister Waterfall, and they must be adopted together!

STELLA has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. You can meet WATERFALL and STELLA at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in North Eugene (2847 Chad Dr, across from Costco). Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet. The $280 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. It is available on our website: https://catrescues.org/forms/cat-adoption-contract/ A paper copy is available at our adoption sites. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, have been de-wormed, treated with flea medication at intake, spayed or neutered, and have been microchipped and tested for felv/fiv tested.

All of our cats are located either in one of our adoption centers or a foster home. If you are in the neighborhood, you are more than welcome to drop by one of our adoption centers to view available animals. Our adoption centers are located in both Eugene PetSmart stores, Wags! Dog Emporium, and the Eugene-Springfield Cat Lounge. More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette, at Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd and the Eugene-Springfield Cat Lounge. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
