My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colonel is simply amazing. He loves to cuddle, kiss and snuggle with his human! Whenever he looks at you with his big eyes you will have a sweetness meltdown! You will notice he moves around he walks with a cute little bounce in his step like he is in his own little world. He loves to be by his special person. This darling petite kitty will make you feel happy inside as he sticks his chin out for you to rub and nuzzle. Don’t let his slightly grumpy expression question his demeanor, he is a sweetie. Whenever he is in the mood he will also give some great massages. He is such a sweet little thing but don’t let that fool you he loves to play as well. His favorites are wand feather toys and little spring toys. Colonel is great with his foster siblings and great with older cats! He is shy at first but once he warms up he will be your forever furry baby. Colonel would like to be adopted with one of his foster siblings, his favorite being Danica (KRLA-A-6879) or with an age appropriate calm kitty buddy.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
