Meet Helen
Helen is a 9 1/2 year old sweetheart. She is part of the Handsome Dan's Rescue Shelter Dog Enrichment Program where she is matched to volunteer Sam.
We think Helen will do well with people of all ages, as long as the kids are dog saavy and not rough with her. She may be good with a low-key dog(s) that give her her own space.
HDR volunteer Sam will be working with Helen weekly to brush up on her training and get her out and about, some time away from the shelter. She is very loved, but field trips are always popular for shelter dogs.
