My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Casey – The Perfect Gentleman
Casey is a one-year-old male cat with a heart as big as his love for snuggles. This sweet boy first appeared on my patio over the summer, visiting every evening to watch my cats and soak up as many pets as he could get. When it became clear that he didn’t have a home, I scooped him up and took him to the vet, where he was examined, scanned for a microchip, neutered, and fully vaccinated.
Since October, Casey has been living indoors with us, settling into the good life. He is an affectionate and gentle soul who loves human attention, though he can be a bit skittish in new situations. He enjoys playing with our foster kittens and doesn’t mind their antics one bit. However, he can get nervous around adult cats, sometimes leading to a bit of hissing and charging. Because of this, Casey would thrive as an only cat or in a home with younger feline friends. If you’re looking for a loving, snuggly companion who just wants a safe and cozy place to call home, Casey could be the perfect fit!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

A potential adopter must complete an application. It will be sent to the Board of Directors for approval. Upon approval, a home visit is done (either with or without the animal(s)). If all goes well, the animal will stay at the home. There is a two-week probationary period where either the adoptive parents or the foster parents can determine the animal should not stay. If this happens during the two weeks, adoption fees are returned. At the time of the adoption, a contract is signed. The adopter is given a full medical history, microchip information, etc. If applicable, a microchip transfer fee will be attained. The adoption fee for a kitten is $75. Any additional kitten is $25. A cat (1 - 6 years) is $40. Additional cat (1 - 6 years) is $20. Senior cats (7 and above) are $20. Puppies (up to 1 year) are $250. Dogs (1 - 6 years) are $150. Senior dogs (7 and above) are $100. Tax of 5% will be added to all adoptions within the state of Wisconsin.
