This helps Thrive Animal Rescue, Inc. with pet care costs.
Opal is a sweet and cuddly 3-year-old Husky mix! We rescued her and her three puppies (Sam, Carla, and Woody) from the euthanasia list due to overcrowding and lack of space in Fresno, California.
She is great with all dogs & cats she meets but is a little shy at first. She loves to play and happily run around once she's adjusted and settled in.
Opal would really love to have a relaxed and confident dog companion in her forever home. We will be prioritizing applicants who have an existing dog in the home for her to be friends with. She is crate trained and housebroken.
She is an eligible dog through our partnership with Pets for Patriots, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping current or former US military members find their best friend. If you're interested in applying, please head over to pfp.care/adopt to learn more!
*ALL dogs who are eligible through Pets for Patriots are also available for adoption to the general public - not exclusive to military members*
She is in a foster home in Clovis, California. Transportation to San Diego is available for those who are interested. If you're interested in meeting Opal, please fill out an adoption application and our team will be in touch upon review if it seems like a good fit.
