How handsome is Chewbacca? So very! Chewbacca is here because he was sadly unwanted. Now, this big boy would love a home with you! Chewbacca has lived indoors only and is good with children, but does not prefer the company of other cats. He does however like dogs and has a dog-like personality himself! He enjoys sitting on your lap and likes to be held intermittently. He can be a bit shy to start, but is a friendly boy! Spay/neuter surgery
Rabies vaccine for kittens over 3 months of age
1st FVRCP vaccine
1st deworming
Testing for FIV, and FELV

Flea treatment including the use of Advantage monthly preventative
Ear cleaning, bathing, nail trimming, and other necessary grooming

Submit Application

Either submit an application in advance of visiting or upon your visit. Staff will approve your application as quickly as possible.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Meet with pets that are a potential to be your new family member. (This can be done prior to your application being approved.)

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you have found the right match staff will go over all the information you may need to help make the adoption successful.

BHS Adoption Hours:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday Afternoon: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Closed to the public at Noon on the last Wednesday of every month.
