Meet Joon!

Joon came to us from our partners at SCRAPS and he has an estimated birthdate of 03/15/2024. He's a beautiful long hair tuxedo kitty who is coming out of his shell in his foster home, and is ready to find his furever place!

Joon is very sweet but still somewhat shy, so he will take time to acclimate to his new home. He currently lives with other cats, but it's unknown how he'd respond to children or dogs. However, we suspect he'd do well with slow introductions and a place to get away from any potential chaos.

Joon comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. His adoption fee is $100. If you are interested in adopting our sweet dude, please submit an application at www.murcismission.org!

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
