Meet Benny!

This adorable large gentleman came to us from our partners at SCRAPS! Benny has an estimated birthdate of 03/15/2016. He's a fully grown adult ready to finally find a place of his own. He was also a little bit late getting his drivers license, but we listen and don't judge.

Benny would love a home that is chill, and allows time for cuddles and relaxation. He would love a window to peer out of, or a catio to relax in during those nice Spring and Summer days. If you have a home ready to accomodate this adorable and loving guy, he would be forever grateful!

Benny comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. His adoption fee is waived as he is estimated to be over 8 years old. If you are interested in adopting our sweet guy, please submit an application at www.murcismission.org!

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
