Meet Tuna Fey!

Guaranteed to make you laugh, and sometimes cry, Tuna Fey is an adorable adult black and white kitty with an estimated birthdate of 6/16/2024.

Tuna Fey came to us with her partner Amy Pawler from our partners at SCRAPS. While a newcomer to us, she has warmed up in her foster home incredibly quickly! She's a total shoulder cat, and wants lots of love and affection. She is a typical young kitty with lots of energy! Did you know that Tuna (and Tina) speak German? If you're looking for a pal to speak Deutsche with, here's your girl!

Tuna does have some corneal scarring, which currently doesn't seem to be bothering her and has been examined by a vet. However, should she require an enucleation (eye removal) Murci's Mission would cover that expense with our chosen clinic.

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
