Meet Joe Friday!

Do you need a new detective in your life, perhaps you are looking to solve the mystery of the missing hair ties? Joe Friday is your guy, he's on the case and won't let you down!

With an estimated birthdate of 7/17/2024, Joe is growing up to be a sweet, affectionate, and silly little kitten! He's loving foster life, but would really love to find a place to loaf furever! Joe is the kind of guy who will steal your heart with his sensitive side, and may even drive you a little nuts as he requires a decent amount of affection in return. He knows what he wants and he's very clear about that.. very refreshing!

Joe would love to be adopted as a pair with his unconfirmed sibling, Miss Frizzle, or as a singleton. He would likely do well either way!

Joe is a little escape artist, and is quite curious about the outside world, so he would love a home that intends to harness train him and take him outside, or build him a catio!

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
