Meet Amy Pawler!

Just about as silly, and equally as funny as Parks and Rec, Amy Pawler is an adorable adult black kitty with an estimated birthdate of 6/16/2024.

Amy Pawler came to the Mission with her partner in stand-up Tuna Fey from our partners at SCRAPS. She's doing well in her foster home, and could be adopted with her sister or solo. She would enjoy any family who has room in their home for a sweet little kitten!

Amy Pawler's adoption fee is $100, or $100 for her and Tuna Fey. She comes spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and vaccinated. If you are interested in adopting Clara, please begin by filling out an applicaiton at www.murcismisison.org!

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
