My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Canelo (A137683) is a 6-week-old intact rabbit who weighed 1.44 pounds on intake!

This group of baby bun buns were surrendered to the shelter because their owner was moving. Even though they are young they were already said to have been started on litterbox training and doing great! They were described as outgoing and friendly rabbits. At the shelter, we did find that they are not overly used to being handled and can be a bit skittish. They are looking for a patient owner to continue working on their confidence. If you are unfamiliar with rabbit care we encourage you to research prior to adoption. They should have unlimited access to hay for their teeth and gi health, a measured amount of pellet food daily, and fresh greens daily. Rabbits also require a spacious enclosure to hop around an explore. If you choose to allow them to free roam, make sure you have bunny-proofed your home first, as they are known for being chewers! With that being said providing your rabbit with appropriate chews is very important for not only their teeth but also their mental health! If you are interested in meeting any of these bun buns, please let us know!
