Sheila is a 2 year old gal with a loving, shy nature. She got a bad break when the chicken plant closed in Noel, MO, and her family abruptly left town after presumably losing their job, but left poor Sheila behind. She lived outside on the streets for a few months, fed by a kind soul. A Noel resident then took her in for many months, and Huckleberry Rescue acquired her when the Noel caretaker encountered health issues. Sheila is great on a leash and rides quietly in a car. She has a loving nature, gets along with other dogs and has lived with a cat. She sleeps peacefully all night. She loves squeaky toys and Kong toys stuffed with peanut butter and kibble. Sheila is spayed, fully vaccinated, HW negative, and microchipped!

I'm Your Huckleberry Rescue, Inc. is a 501(3)(c) non profit corporation located in Pineville, MO. Incorporated in 2017 with the goal of finding permanent homes for lost, injured, abandoned and surrendered dogs and cats in Mc Donald and Newton counties. All animals are given a health check, vaccinations, heartworm test and neutered before being placed. Currently consist of a network of foster homes.
