Meet Daisy!

Daisy is a 5 year old Labrador Retriever mix who came to us from a commercial breeding facility in Lancaster county after being used as a breeder mama.

The puppy mill used and abused Daisy until she was no longer able to produce profitable litters of puppies, and then reached out to us to take her off their hands. It’s a story as old as time when it comes to puppy mills, but we will always be there to help our beloved mill mamas.

She is very shut down but is slowly starting to give us her trust. We are confident she will make a wonderful family member for a very lucky family, who understands her past and gives her the time she needs to trust them. Our mill mamas are always extremely special, and we promise you there is no love out there that compares to theirs!

She will require a family who understands her past, and is patient with her as she transition to living life in a home and around kind people. This should go without saying, but we require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY. Daisy will do best in a home without children under the age of 12 years old. She would thrive with another confident dog in the home!
