Catrina is a beautiful 3-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on February 5, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who had found her on State Route 7 in the Reno Ohio area approximately two weeks earlier. Catrina had been kept safe by that kind individual for approximately two weeks while she tried in vain to locate her family.
This little lady has a sleek black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a pretty face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.
Catrina has a sweet, rather shy, personality and is quite friendly. She especially loves her 'safe haven' (a soft plush covered bed which our compassionate kennel techs have placed in her small cage in order to provide a sense of security). Catrina chose to stay in her safe place for the first few days and gradually come out when she began to trust her new kennel tech friends.
Catrina was given vaccinations, flea treatment, and Pyrantel wormer on February 6, 2025. She weighed 7.8 lbs that day. Catrina was given booster vaccines on February 20, 2025.
Since Catrina was not reclaimed, we will have her spayed and find her a loving home.
These updated photos were taken on February 28, 2025. Catrina is currently in The Jungle Room (one of our adoptable cat rooms) were she is waiting for someone to fall in love with her and offer her the home she is dreaming of finding.
