My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiki is a lovely 1-1/2 year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on January 5, 2025 after she was found on Barth Road in Belpre Ohio.

This sweet girl has a black short smooth coat with a small patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and a beautiful face with large golden/orange eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.

Kiki was given Pyrantel wormer on January 5, 2025. She weighed 12.4 lbs that day. Kiki was given booster vaccines on January 20, 2025. She weighed 15.3 lbs that day.

Kiki has a sweet, outgoing personality. She loves attention from her people friends (including children). Kiki does not appear to be fond of other cats. We don't know how she feels about doggy friends.

When Kiki entered our shelter, it was believed that she was pregnant so naturally we kept a close eye on her and made sure she was comfortable with good nutritional food. After several weeks Kiki hadn't shown any indications of impending labor/pregnancy, so she was examined by one of our wonderful local veterinarians on February 24th who made the determination that Kiki merely had a healthy appetite (smile) .. And also that she had been spayed at some point in her young life. So the good news is that she is ready to find a home of her very own .. The not-so-good news for Kiki is that she has been placed on a lower-calorie diet these days.

Kiki was given rabies vaccine on February 24, 2025 and was given flea treatment on February 25, 2025.

Since Kiki has already been spayed, she could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application. She is also available for rescue.

Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
