Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Female - DOB: 4/2/2014. Meet Betsy, a very pretty girl who is still a little shy as she adjusts to shelter life. Though she’s still a bit scared, Betsy enjoys gentle petting and loves when we talk to her. She’s especially fond of treats and canned food, and with a little patience and love, we know she’ll continue to blossom.
Betsy is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can feel safe and secure as she builds trust. We’d love to see her go home with her brother, Barney, as they are a bonded pair and share a special connection.
Come meet Betsy and Barney — they’re sure to make a wonderful duo in the right home!

More about this shelter
In 1978 a group of neighbors got together to provide foster homes and find families for the ever-increasing number of stray animals roaming the Tri-Lakes area. As the program grew, it became apparent that a shelter facility was necessary. After ten years of fund raising, the Tri-Lakes Humane Society opened in June, 1988!
We are a no-kill 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter for stray and abandoned animals while seeking to find them permanent homes. We receive no state or local funding and rely solely on public donations.
