My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Blossom: A Brave Heart in Need of a Loving Home!**

Blossom is a stunning medium-haired white, with  brown tabby markings, and she has a story that tugs at the heartstrings. Rescued from a traumatic situation, Blossom was saved by a kind-hearted bystander who witnessed her suffering at the hands of a homeless couple. She was seen being kicked and punched repeatedly, until the good samaritan stepped in. Though her past has left her wary, Blossom is a true survivor with a gentle spirit waiting to shine.

Initially, Blossom may take her time warming up to new people and animals. Her defensive instincts kick in as a protective measure, but with patience and understanding, she reveals her sweet personality. Once she feels safe, you’ll be greeted with the soothing sound of her purrs, the joy of biscuit-making, and her playful antics. She loves snuggling up on her foster human’s chest, providing warmth and comfort.

Blossom would thrive in a loving home where she can be the only cat. While she can adapt to a home with other pets, and is currently doing well with other cats, Blossom will need gradual introductions and time to adjust to her new environment.

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a remarkable cat who deserves a second chance at happiness, Blossom is waiting for you! With love and patience, she will blossom into the affectionate companion you’ve always wanted.

Blossom is a young adult, around 2-3 years old. She comes spayed, dewormed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (including registration). Her adoption fee is $85.

Additional adoption info

How it works-

If you are interested in adopting with us, the first step is an application. We will call two personal references and a veterinary reference (if applicable). The next step is a home check which can be done via sending in a video, or at the time we bring the animal over for a meet and greet.

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility or hours of operation. To meet available cats or kittens, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Once approved, a meet and greet can be arranged!

More about this rescue

The POUNCE Alliance is a federally licensed 501c3 non profit, feline focused, foster based animal rescue. We heavily focus on TNR (trap-neuter-return) of feral cat colonies to minimize the number of felines born outdoors without proper resources to live and thrive. Thousands of cats are born outdoors every year in our community and the focus of POUNCE is to combat the issue with spay/neuter, vaccinations, and medical treatment. With TNR comes many found kittens, tame cats, and sickly community cats who we cannot ethically return back to their home. This is why POUNCE also has a foster and adoption program for adoptable and "hospice" cases who are either tame or are too fragile to return to the outdoors.
