Hi! My name is Luca. My human says I am probably 9 years old. I was adopted by my human during the pandemic and we've lived together blissfully for 4 years, but my human has developed an allergy, and sadly, we must part ways. I am sweet and friendly, and I love meeting new people. I spend most of my days sleeping, but I really enjoy playing, and especially meal times. I am tolerant of all ages, but not dogs. I am an indoor cat, but love a good open window to gaze out of. I am curious about other cats, and have lived with them in my past. I don't scratch, and I like sleeping with my human.
I am good with some cats with proper introduction. Ive happily lived with cats in the past. Im sure I can live with a friendly pup too!

DPR was established in 2004 as a 501(c) non profit organize and an all volunteer rescue organization. We are not a shelter. We rescue both cats and dogs. We care for these pets in our foster homes until proper and stable homes are found through a multi-step adoption process. Our ultimate goal is to match families with our pets so that they live out their lives in loving, educated, safe homes for the remainder of their lives. Our additional goals in rescue are to educate the public in the importance of spaying/neutering and exposing the truth behind pet store puppys and the horrors of puppy mills.
