GINGER NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Ginger Best Guess for Breed: Retriever and shepherd mix
Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of February 2025 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 52 lbs
Gets Along With: Ginger does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a friendly resident dog. We haven't seen her with cats, but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area boarding facility
Ginger is Looking For: Her forever home! This pretty girl was an amazing mom to her babies Benny, Bianca, Bing, Brenda, and Brianna, and they all went off to get their own homes. Now Ginger is seeking humans to lavish all her love and affection upon. She hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet, and can be shy, so she needs extra patient and loving humans who will introduce her to new environments and experiences at her pace, and a welcoming resident dog who will show her how to dog. Training will help her build her braves as well.
Most of all, she wants to be safe and loved and under her own roof. She has so many adoring gazes, so many tail wags, and loyal companionship to offer in return. What do you say? Is Ginger the one for your home and your heart?
