Thurston had been hanging around in a neighborhood in Wyoming for approximately a year. Our contact said he showed up one day with an ear tip but that he was a known stray in the neighborhood.
She called us when he came around with a pretty gruesome eye injury. Despite being a little scared, he was easily caught by them and came into rescue. He had several wounds around his neck and eyes but has healed up very well. He IS FIV/Felv negative.
The vet even stated that while drawing his blood for the snap test, he was a great cat. He's going to make someone a good companion. He's not the life of the party but definitely a more quiet, gentle soul. He likes pets and curling up in his fabric cave.
One of his eyes is smaller than the other. The vet believes this is a genetic issue called microphthalmia.
Location: He is currently located at the Happy Cat Cafe. More information can be found at www.happycatgr.com
Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age approriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and dewormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption.
