Meet Maya! This sweet mama came to us after the family caring for her was displaced by the LA Fires. She was originally found on the streets of LA where she surprised everyone by having a litter of pups! Now after doing the mom thing, she is ready to shine on her own. She is around 50 pounds and around 2-3 years old. She is a beautiful brindle girly who is so friendly to everyone she meets. She is the first to walk up to say hello and ask for pets from everyone she meets. She is currently a solo doggo in her foster home ,but has lived with dogs of various sizes/ages before and done well. It would likely be best for a dog buddy around her size to play with. She has been exposed to feline friends and done well. She has lived in both an apartment and home with a yard and done well. She has done well with house training and is learning all about leash work. She is loving life in her foster home with all the comfy beds and affection. Apply to meet this sweet girl today!

Her adoption fee is $495 and covers her vaccinations, microchip and spay.

Submit Application

Adoption applications for our pups and cats can be found using this link: https://www.amazingstraysrescue.org/forms-applications

Interview

If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

3.
Home Check

After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

4.
Meet the Pet

The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.
