My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Mullet was brought in by her previous owner on December 12, 2024.

Why Mullet is the one for you:
Meet Mullet, a lovely girl with a heart as big as her personality! This fun-loving pup is ready to be the life of the party wherever she is! She is one intelligent gal who is potty trained, crate trained and a dream passenger in the car. Mullet knows a variety of commands like sit, stay, down, look and even crawl - she's one smart cookie! While she can get a little overexcited at times, she's a quick learner and will thrive with some gentle guidance. Due to her excitable nature, she is looking for a home where any children are over the age of 8. Mullet has a history of guarding her items from other pets, so she'd thrive in a home without other dogs or cats. If you do have another pup, a meet-and-greet is a must to ensure they're a match. Mullet is ready to crawl her way into your heart! Think Mullet might be the one for you? Head on down to meet her today!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
