Come and meet your new family member! This cutie is Brienza or “Bri” for short. Bri is a sweetheart who is learning calmness in the house, and play explore train outside. We are consistently practicing name recognition with Bri, name-feed. She is learning basic puppy obedience, potty training, crate training and has a medium level energy. Bri is building food and ball drive that we use for engagement and and teaching agility. Reps are repeated for consistency of learning. Consistency leads to success for the dog by keeping the technique the same. She is 8-9 weeks old, is up to date on all shots, dewormers, has nexguard and heartguard on board, and is microchipped. Additional adoption info

An applicant first submits an application form with a non-refundable $10.00 (cash or check only) processing fee. VGSR reviews the application, then schedules an interview and home visit during which a number of questions are asked and the home is reviewed to be sure there is a contained/safe yard, and to meet the family involved. Once the application is approved, the applicant is asked to submit a $250.00 (cash or check ONLY) minimum adoption donation to VGSR to help defray the costs of getting the dog fully vetted and ready to be adopted, and the adoption is completed.

More about this rescue

We provide a valuable service by finding good homes for the German Shepherd Dogs in our care. In the seven plus years that we have been in existence, we have found homes for over 2,400 deserving dogs. We are currently enlisting active volunteers to help with the task of placing some really wonderful, but homeless, German Shepherd Dogs. Our goal is to place all GSDs that are accepted into our Rescue in loving homes in which the GSD and the family will thrive together.
