Looking for a home for dear, sweet Bear – a Husky / Australian Shepherd mix. He’s roughly 60 pounds and the vet thinks he is about 5 years old. He was being fostered by someone in my apartment building who moved away. I took him in 6 weeks ago on a temporary basis, but I can’t have two dogs, so I need to find him a good home.
Bear is very affectionate. He loves scratches on the head, to sit in your lap, and to cuddle with you in bed (small spoon, if you’ll allow it). He’s going to make someone very happy.
He is fully house-broken and was trained not to lick. He takes treats gently from your hand. But strangely, he was never taught basic commands. He is so eager to please, I’ll bet he learns quickly.
He is neutered, has all of his shots, and is on heart-worm, flea and tick medication. I have his paperwork.
I’ve really fallen for him, so it’s important to me that I find him a loving home. Please let me know if you think you might be a good fit and would like to meet Bear.
