Jasmine joined our family about 18 months ago at an adoption event (she’s 2years old now), She’s been a great addition to the family, but unfortunately her and our other dog who is here before Jasmine have started not getting along. Jasmine is a good dog, house trained, crate trained, very smart, and loves our four younger kids, but she isn’t perfect. She’s excitable and always needs to be involved in whatever action is going on. She’s also rather anxious, especially around new people, and vet visits require a dose of anxiety meds ahead of time. For new people at our home we have a practice of usually putting her away for a few minutes whenever somebody comes to make sure she’s comfortable. Early on, there had been times where she had growled or nipped at new people that have entered our home or walked on our property, but we haven’t seen that since our new routine. She’s a very sweet and special girl and deserves a loving home.
