My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chowder found his way to the shelter being very sick. He is loveable goofy ball who will do anything to slide through cat nip or just perch in the window sill to watch the day go by. Chowder came to us with a long term bladder infection to the point he had enlarged kidneys. We got him on medication to resolve the bladder infection and improve his kidneys. He does now have a pretty significant heart murmur from being left untreated for who knows how long prior to getting to us. You would never know he has anything wrong with him, he just wants to be loved. He would love to find his home who understands he is the best boy, and time is uncertain for him. He deserves all the snuggles and scratches he can get.

If you are interested in Chowder, please apply and we can talk more in depth about his medical.

Additional adoption info

We require all all household members in the home to come to the shelter and meet with the animal they are interested in.

If there is any other dogs that live in the home have to come to the shelter for a meet and greet with the animal you are interested in.

All animals in the home have to be up to date on vaccines and spay or neutered. We require verification from the vet you use.

If you rent we do require landlord approval for an animal to be on the property.

Lastly we do have an adoption application that can be filled out online prior to your visit to the shelter or it can also be done while visiting.
