If you are into big dog snuggles, you must meet Gus! At 70lb, Gus is a softie when it comes to snuggles. He gives and gets them anyhow he can, straight up or upside down! He is such a sweet, loving, affectionate boy. Full of love to give. He smiles at his humans a lot. He also likes to pick up anything he can find on the floor to give you as a gift when you come home and first thing in the morning when you awaken from sleep. Isn't that the most adorable thing?? <3 He also likes to give you handshakes and willingly accepts any pets or affection you want to bestow on him :) At nap time, Gus loves to suck on blankets. Sometimes, he sucks on them so hard that he puts holes through them :) Gus is house trained. He doesn't touch anything in the house except boxes. He chews them up like they are evil beings put here to destroy his home, so he must protect it. Gus loves his walks. His walks are generally at a leisure pace. He loves to smell everything on his walks. The first 15 minutes of his walks are slow, devoted to smelling everything around him. Sometimes he pulls because he can't wait to smell the next thing in his path. Gus tolerates baths but he is not a huge fan of the water!

Gus is almost 5 years old, 60lb Lab Shepherd mix and looking for a home with either no kids or older kids. Random, quick movements from young children make him nervous. He gets anxious if he feels cornered by young children. Gus is wonderful around older, calmer children and dogs. A home with bottomless snuggles and one that welcomes random, goofy gifts from him will make him very happy.
