My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear is a very sweet 7 month, 7 pound yorkshire terrier. He has a beautiful coat and is very healthy. Bear loves his owner very much and bonds quickly. He has a great temperament and will make a wonderful addition for the right family. He will not do well with young children in the home as he is very skittish of them and does hide, He is doing well on his house training, but children do make him nervous so he does forget. Adoption fee does apply and if interested, please fill out an application at www.NCYorkieRescue.org.

We do not make money on the yorkies we adopt to new families, we use whatever remaining money we have to help other yorkies in need. NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a small group of dedicated and sincere yorkie lovers. We take all yorkies, regardless of age or health issues. We are in the process of applying for our 501(c)(3) and are a non-profit group. A home visit may be performed before the adoption is approved and an adoption application must be submitted and approved as well. All of our yorkies come with complimentary training sessions, either by a personal visit to the office or a telephone consultation, to help their transition into their new home.
