My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The irresistible Copper is a gorgeous Mini Goldendoodle that is between 4 and 5 years old and just waiting to be the love of a special family's life.

Copper is such a great age..old enough to be past any babyish behaviors and is as cuddly as can be while being young enough to have many, many active and healthy years ahead.

Our sweet as can be guy weighs 30 pounds of cottony-soft fluffiness. This is.a perfect size for walks on gorgeous Colorado trails or neighborhood strolls for fun and socialization. And then at day's end, sweet Copper would be perfect for warming his favorite person's lap or a cuddly couch / bed companion all night long.

From Copper's foster:
"Copper is such a great dog! He is potty trained too -- woo hoo! He is very sweet and friendly and loves to play but also loves to cuddle."

Copper is definitely a full-time best friend and loves to hang out watching Netflix or chilling to the latest playlist. He loves his people more than anything and wouldn't do well with a family that works full-time hours outside of the home. Farfel's has made the decision that Copper would do best in a home with loving and devoted retirees that spend lots of time at home or enjoy taking their furry best friend along. A younger family that works from a home-based office would be also a good choice for our sweet boy. Copper is a perfect take-along sized guy. It's so easy to just scoop him up and snuggle him under your arm. He enjoys the car and is very happy riding strapped into his car seat or in his crate so he can be safe and sound at all times while traveling.

Copper has a gorgeous non-shedding coat (or so we've been told by both his rescuer and foster) and not a single hair will ever need brushing off your clothing or furniture. We've been told that snuggly Copper loves his life indoors and enjoys warm sweaters when the weather gets snowy and cold... but just mention a walk or hike and up our golden guy jumps, so excited to be with his people as they hit the trails.

Because Copper is a non-shedding guy, he'll require a lifelong commitment to periodic grooming and excellent nutrition. A five star food and a daily salmon oil supplement will keep Copper's stunning coat healthy, cottony-soft and matte-free.

Farfel's Rescue has made the decision that we'd like to see Copper in a home with loving and devoted retirees who spend lots of time at home or enjoy taking their furry best friend along. A younger family that works from a home-based office would also be a good choice for this sweet boy. Copper is a perfect take-along sized guy. It's so easy to just scoop him up and snuggle him under your arm. He enjoys the car and is very happy riding strapped into his car seat or in his crate to insure his safety in the car.

Copper is at his absolute best with dog-crazy adults who truly treasure their relationship with their dog. A walk followed by time on the couch or bed watching a favorite TV show would speak to this little guy. He would be overjoyed to be part of a family as he has never had a loving and responsible family to call his own.

Copper is unknown with cats. He's compatible and really enjoys gentle dogs with similar energy levels to his own, but doesn't require these relationships to be happy. Copper would be very content as an only dog with a family that will shower full-time love and pampering on him. He will return that nurturing and kindness a million times over as he falls more and more in love with his favorite people.

Copper is available for adoption now.
Applications are currently being accepted for our gorgeous and cuddly Copper. If interested in our irresistible guy, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit.

**PLEASE NOTE**. If you're truly interested in adopting Copper, please be sure to submit the Farfel's Rescue adoption application that can be found at the link above or at farfels.com. Rescue site applications such as Petfinder or Adoptapet don't provide enough information for us to determine a great match for this very deserving dog, and therefore aren't useful. We're sorry, but in many circumstances, we're unable to get back to those those that don't submit a Farfel's adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue!
