Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Choo-choo is a nine-week-old, all-black Labrottie who looks just like a Labrador in photos. One of twelve puppies found on a cold November evening in an alley in Chicago, Choo-choo has proven to be quite the survivor. Though initially shy and reserved around new people, Choo-choo is known for being fiercely independent and a bit cautious at first. However, once trust is established, Choo-choo loves to snuggle and form close bonds.
Curious and adventurous, Choo-choo loves exploring and is fearless in many ways, especially when it comes to climbing. Potty training has been progressing well, even in the cold snow, and Choo-choo absolutely loves playing in it, often eating it for fun. After outdoor adventures, there's nothing better than cozying up in a fuzzy blanket for some warmth and comfort.
While Choo-choo is content eating in a crate, staying in there for extended periods isn’t their favorite, but they're working on it. Wearing a collar is no issue, and leash training is underway, though it feels a little strange right now. Choo-choo may not bark often, preferring to whine softly when they need something or are feeling sad.
Choo-choo is a big fan of food and water, and their adorable puppy eyes often lead to getting what they want. Belly rubs and almond butter are favorites, and Choo-choo loves playing soccer with a wiffle ball, particularly with their brother, Thomas. Wrestling is another favorite pastime, and Choo-choo is known for being both smart and playful. Described by their foster mom as a "love bug," Choo-choo is affectionate with both dogs and humans and has an abundance of kisses to give.
Choo-choo would thrive in a forever home that has another dog to play with. The bond and companionship would make them even happier. They can’t wait to meet their forever family and start their new adventure!
