My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Regal, Gentle, Quiet

Meet Mrs. Mac!

Mrs. Mac is a sweet 13-year-old brown tabby with her signature white "boots" on her paws. Beneath her soft, striped coat lies a gentle heart that’s just looking for the right calm and patient home to help her feel safe.

Mrs. Mac is an independent kitty who prefers the quiet life. She’s very shy and mostly keeps to herself, spending much of her day tucked comfortably in her carrier. She’s happiest in a low-traffic, peaceful environment where she can take her time adjusting at her own pace.

When the house settles at night down, she sometimes comes out to quietly explore, showing little glimpses of playfulness when no one is watching. Her foster has set up a little camera which has captured Mrs. Mac having her own kitty party when the humans are sleeping -eating, playing and having a good ol' time!

She’s very low-maintenance and doesn’t require a lot of interaction, though she may offer the occasional soft purr when she’s feeling especially relaxed. She’s a quiet kitty who prefers doing her own thing and doesn’t demand attention or affection.

Mrs. Mac is currently on a few medications and receives her daily gruel and medication through a syringe to make sure she's getting everything she needs, a process that she’s adapted to with grace. She also nibbles on small amounts of dry and wet food on her own when she is by herself.

This lovely senior lady would thrive in a quiet, low-stress home with someone who can offer her patience, understanding, and a peaceful place to rest. If you’re looking for a gentle, independent companion and want to offer her a second chance at comfort and care, Mrs. Mac could be the perfect fit for your home.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
