Howdy! My name is Nanuk and I'm the most handsome 1yr old male Husky you'll ever meet! I'm located near Greeneville TN and am available for transport.

Quick Facts:
Age - 1yr old
Home - home with a fenced in yard
Kids - good with kids of all ages
Dogs - great with dogs
Cats - cat friendly!
Training - would benefit from standard obedience training

1. I found myself in a high-kill shelter but thankfully IDGSR came to my rescue!!

2. My foster mom says I'm the absolute bestest boy! I'm nice, polite, friendly, relatively calm for a Husky, and overall so great.

3. In my previous home, I was raised with young kids! If you have young kiddos in the home, with proper supervision we will get along just fine.

4. I'm also CAT FRIENDLY!! I was raised with cats and also interacted with cats at the shelter. I tend to ignore them, they do scare me a little if they swat those paws at me.

5. I love to play in the play yard with the other foster dogs. I love attention, treats, and to be loved on.

6. I would make a great walking, hiking, or active partner! Really, I'll go anywhere and do anything as long as I'm with you.

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
