Hiya Friends! My name is Izzy and I'm a stunning 1yr old female German Shepherd. I am currently at a 4-week board & train with Mason Dixon K9 in Maryland and will be available for transport after my training.

Quick Facts:
Age - 1yr old
Home - home with a fenced in yard, no apartments or condos
Kids - would do okay with older kids (12+)
Dogs - good with large male dogs
Cats - NO cats
Training - I am fully trained in obedience

1. My backstory is kinda sad. I've been in a shelter for most of my life, adopted and returned numerous times because people wouldn't take the time to let me adjust.

2. Thankfully IDGSR had an opening and promised to find me a forever home! I'm a good girl, I promise!

3. I am learning all sorts of basic & advanced obedience training with Mason Dixon K9! Check out their Facebook page to see my videos!

4. I am house & crate trained!

5. I get along well with other large male dogs! I really hope you have a friendly pupper for me to play with.

6. I am energetic, smart, playful, adventurous, athletic, and friendly. I would love to be a permanent member of a family - could it be with you?

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
