Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marla is a female German Shepherd mix. She is approximately one year old, and currently weighs 44 lbs. She was brought to our shelter on 1/19/25 after being found in Pleasanton. She hasn't been reclaimed by her previous person, so she's now looking for a new home. When Marla first arrived at our shelter, she was missing most of her fur. She spent the first month or so in our care receiving treatments and baths to help her start to heal. She's looking so good now and is no longer on any medications. She is a fun, active, playful, and happy girl! She loves going for walks, and playing with toys, especially stuffies! She could be a great partner for someone who also loves to take walks, go hiking, or has a yard where they can enjoy watching her romp around and play!

Marla is dog selective, meaning that she may enjoy the company of some dogs, but not others. If you already have another pup at home, we'll have you bring them to meet her prior to an adoption.

She has been vaccinated, spayed, and will be micro-chipped before going to her new home.

Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). The cost of her spay surgery has been sponsored! Marla qualifies for Fluffy Dog Friday! Adopt her on a Friday and we'll waive your adoption fee!
