Name: Keri
Animal ID: 570321
Gender: Female
Age: 19 years old
Breed: Arabian
Height: 14.2hh
Adoption Fee: $1000
Location: Houston
Adopter experience needed: Intermediate
Training level: Broke to ride
Current assessment and personality: Keri is a very straight forward mare. Due to blindness in her right eye, she appreciates verbal guidance when she cannot directly see her handler, especially when lunging. When under saddle, she is very trusting when her rider is in charge. She is very polite and not at all pushy on the ground, but will require a confident rider who can offer her clear instruction. She enjoys having a job and has been excelling at various tasks during her time with us. She has been ridden English & Western with us and seems to have a dressage foundation that a skilled rider will be able to maximize. Keri will make an excellent horse for someone not only looking to maintain their riding, but also someone who would like to further their riding capabilities. We could also see her making a great addition to a lesson barn!
