My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Regal was brought in by a community member.

Why Regal might be the one for you:
Regal is a gorgeous gal with a vibrant, friendly spirit that she's eager to share with everyone she meets. Her boundless enthusiasm is truly infectious, turning every day into an amazing adventure!
Regal was previously in a foster home and is adored by her foster parents, who couldn't say enough about her sweet personality and loving nature. She's also a bit of a fashionista-she looks absolutely fabulous in a bandana, and she knows it!
A true social butterfly, Regal loves playtime with her human friends and has a knack for learning new things. She already knows the "sit" and "stop" commands and is house-trained - the sky is the limit for this bright pup! Regal's combination of positive energy, obedience, and charm makes her an exceptional companion.
While Regal thrives with people, she would do best as the only animal in the home. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will fill your life with joy and a touch of style, Regal is ready to be your girl!
Adopt Regal and bring home not just a pet but a cherished family member who will brighten your days!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
