My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alicia was surrendered with her siblings as an accidental litter. She was born 11/28/2024 and is looking for a new loving home. She would be a foster to adopt. She will need to come back for boosters as required and once spayed the adoption will be finalized.

Alicia is the mother hen of the group, she checks in with them all and makes sure they are okay. She is very smart, and sweet. She is a German Shepherd, Cane Corso, Kangal shepherd, and Great Pyrenees. She is a mix breed of guardian breeds so having experience with these breeds would benefit her, if not we strongly recommend if you are interested to do research on these breeds.

She is very willing to work with you and loves company of others. She is very cuddly. She will need basic training, socializing, the whole 9 yards. She is practically almost house broken; She catches on to routine beautifully!

If you are interested in an animal you’ve seen on our website, you can call 519-833-2287 or send an email to learn more about them. You can also stop by the shelter to meet the animal in person. It may take a few visits to find the animal that is a perfect match for you.

You can stop by the shelter Monday through Sunday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

You may wish to call the shelter before visiting to confirm the location and availability of the animal you would like to meet. The UCHS staff can let you know if the animal is currently at the shelter or at one of our remote locations, such as a foster home, local pet supply store or our Thrift Shop.
