Maggie Mae has made leaps and bounds in her short time here. She is a five year old Aussie mix who weighs about 35 pounds. Don’t tell her but she is way too fat and needs to lose weight. The only reason I’m saying Aussie is because her butt is an Aussie butt with a bobtail. Which she loves scratched by the way. Maggie is a couch potato who loves walks and is good on a leash. We’re told she likes car rides too and does good in the car. Maggie enjoys the company of all people, but she lights up when kids walk into the room. Kids or grandkids would be on the top of Maggie’s list of things she would love. She is dog friendly and probably would be kitty friendly. I’m told she’s house and crate trained. In my opinion a retired couple would be perfect for her. Someone who will make a fuss over her and brush her daily(she loves being brushed). Someone who will give her the life she deserves, BUT I’m not sure that’s what she wants as she loves kids and was in a foster home with lots of chaos.
