Meet Pinky!
This little rugrat is looking for a new home to teach her that life is not so scary! Being in the shelter is a weird and scary place and sometimes it takes a little bit longer to adjust to see all of the animals true personality come through. Pinky has shown us that even with her tail tucked she's still super brave and that treats with chicken seem to be her favorite so far. If you go slow with her, she might even give you a kiss! If you are ready to show a nervous lady some love and patience, stop by the shelter and show it to Pinky!

Cats over 4 months -- $75 for one, $100 for two
Puppies under 4 months -- $300
Dogs over 4 months-- $100, $150 for two
Rabbits -- $50 for one, $80 for two
Guinea Pigs -- $15 for one, $25 for two
Rats, Mice, and Hamsters - $8.00 for one, $2 for any additional

The main caregiver and an adult in the family are required to be present and meet the animal to adopt. An application and signed contract is required, and homeownership or verification from a landlord that the pet is allowed is required. Dog adoptions require an introduction to all members of the family as well as any existing dogs.

Furry Friends seeks to assist all animals in need through a variety of programs. We are a group of passionate people who have created the first no- kill community in Iowa and hope to spread the no-kill mission through the rest of Iowa.
